I would like to commend people so far on their behavior during Tyrsis's Dueling Tournament. Knowing what I know about how unprofessionally many players act when killed in the Running Zone (which includes me at times), I am heartened to see a marked increase in manners from the competitors. There was no whining about how someone lost due to lag, packetloss, a bum downgrade, or divine influence, except perhaps from a few overenthusiastic spectators.
Some may point out that this is due to the fact that most of the first couple rounds matches were lopsided, and they have a point. Therefore, I expect everyone playing in rounds three and above to try extra-hard not to BITCH. If you lose, you lose. You will congratulate the other player on their skill and sulk alone. If you win, you win. You will congratulate the loser on their skill and exult privately to your squadmates. Maybe if we all practiced this good behavior a little more often it would become easier to do.
